Integrate Capital Preferences into your intelliflo platform

The following steps are intended for financial advisers and firms who have active access to the intelliflo platform. Follow these steps to integrate Capital Preferences into your intelliflo platform and start enhancing your financial advising processes.


Getting set up with Client Engagement Suite

  1. Install Capital Preferences’ Client Engagement Suite via the intelliflo store. 

    Navigate to the Intelliflo Store and install the Capital Preferences app.
  2. Click Sign up for Free trial or contact the Capital Preferences team at support@capitalpreferences.com to configure your account. We’ll set-up your account and integrate your firm’s model portfolios to map clients directly to your investment options. 


  3. Add the Capital Preferences widgets to your dashboards by clicking Edit dashboard -> Add widget.  
  • Client Profile: Add the widget Client Profile in Capital Preferences to your client dashboard. This will import the individual client (and their partner, if applicable) into Capital Preferences. You can also import a client through the menu item “Capital Preferences” in your Client Actions menu. 
  • Import all my clients to Capital Preferences: Add the widget Import all my clients to Capital Preferences to your overview dashboard (optional). This imports all your intelliflo clients into Capital Preferences. You can also do this through the Import clients button in the Client Engagement Suite. 

  1. When clients are imported into Client Engagement Suite, we pull their name, date of birth and email address to streamline risk profiling.
  • If clients are marked as part of a financial partnership in intelliflo, they will be imported as a household for joint risk profiling. For existing users, any clients already on Capital Preferences will be linked with their intelliflo record, based on their email.  

  1. Once set up, you can send clients a gamified, interactive activity designed to uncover their true risk preferences. Upon completion, a comprehensive PDF report is generated and automatically saved to the client documents in intelliflo, ensuring easy access and seamless record-keeping.
