What's new? July 2026

From 21 July, we're excited to roll out a new multi-product experience to every firm on Advisor Portal, alongside Timeframe-Aware Risk Comfort Scores that map each client's risk preferences to their goals and time horizon. There's nothing you need to do, and it's included at no extra cost — your subscription and pricing are unchanged. The multi-product experience adds two new client activities, Goals and Personal Finance Statement (PFS), alongside the Risk activity you already use.

Goals, Risk & PFS in one workspace

From 21 July, every firm will have all three client activity modules in one workspace. You have control of what activities are sent to each client; the more they complete, the richer their Economic Fingerprintâ„¢

Preference Tab

View insights about your clients through the Preferences tab.

The Economic Fingerprint

The Economic Fingerprint reveals how your client makes decisions, which uncovers their true financial investing preferences.

You will send your client a unique link to the Economic Fingerprint, which is a browser-based experience and doesn't require your clients to download any apps or create a login.

For couples, both individuals will receive their own Economic Fingerprint to complete. It's important that couples complete their activities independent of each other, ensuring that we capture the individual's own preferences and not those of their spouse.

Your client will complete a short set of activities which will help you to understand their financial picture and what makes them unique. You decide which activities your client completes.

The Economic Fingerprint provides your client with a real-time view of their progress through the experience. It shows completion status across the key modules that you have requested for your client to complete.

Timeframe adjusted mapping and Risk comfort updates

Risk Comfort Scores now reflect both a client's risk preferences and risk capacity (time until goal). Where a client has multiple goals, their preferences are mapped to each, creating a separate set of scores per goal. If the client has not set any goals, there is additional screen in the risk activity that asks about their investment timeframe.

The threshold for a portfolio being in the Risk Comfort Zone has been redefined. Currently, a portfolio scoring above 60 is considered in the Comfort Zone. Now, a portfolio is in zone based on how it directly ranks relative to the client's growth asset levels. This change means a more consistent number of portfolios in the Comfort Zone across clients.

Email Notifications

You can now choose whether to receive email notifications when a client updates their Economic Fingerprint. Advisor-level accounts can turn notifications on or off via the Email Preferences option in your advisor account menu. When enabled, you'll get an email after each activity a client completes, showing the activities updated, flagging inconsistent risk decisions, and linking directly to the client or household's page in Advisor Portal.
