Creating New Clients or Households

When logging into the Capital Preferences environment, you will see a dashboard which is only visible to you.

If your clients have already been loaded into the environment by your firm, you will see a list of your clients displayed, as below.

To begin profiling, you will need to add your clients, if not already visible. Simply select the 'create new client' tab on the upper right hand corner. Here you will have the option to create either an individual or a household.


Once created, you can click on the client and open up the client page where you can send your clients invites and view insights relating to this specific client.


To send your client an activity, select 'manage invites' in the top right hand side of the page.


Once selected, you can choose which activities you request your client to complete. Simply tick the activity you want to send. Note that you don't have to send the client all of the activities to complete at once. You can navigate back to this option at a later date to send any remaining activities.


You can either send an automated email to your clients via the 'email invite' option, or to write a personalised email, select 'copy link' which you can then paste into your own email, text or WhatsApp.


Your client will receive a link to their Economic Fingerprint to complete any activities you have requested they complete.
